Ahora, vestido elegantemente de traje aparece en la oficina y saluda impactado por la belleza a esa mujer que dice ser australiana y que días antes le ha pedido una entrevista. La mujer lo mira fijamente a los ojos y sin mediar palabras extrae un revolver y dispara tres veces.
Allí comenzaría una cacería que atravesó países y mares y que solo encontró su fin con la muerte de Monika en 1973, en una emboscada que según algunas fuentes le tendió su “tio” , Klaus Barbie. Antes de ser asesinada fue salvajemente torturada.
